Noise at the swimming pool

Impressive and beautiful place with a fantastic swimming pool. The restaurant is on the expensive side, and the staff were helpful.

There was no clear information about what was included in the minibar and what came at an extra cost. The staff were rather cold, which affected the overall experience.

De service van het personeel en de snelheid waarmee alles gaat. Wij hadden een mooie familie bungalow.

Er kan wel iets aan vernieuwing gedaan worden.

The view

Very disappointing stay at Hmong Village Resort. We booked this hotel five months in advance for our honeymoon and requested one of the best rooms. Upon arrival, the room was clearly not properly cleaned. We found a dead centipede in the bathroom, dead insects on the walls, bugs under the pillows, and two LIVE cockroaches. We requested a room change late in the evening. The second room was not better: another centipede in the shower and visible spider webs, indicating poor cleaning standards. Staff response was unprofessional — one employee laughed while removing the insect. When addressing this with management, the explanation given was that the hotel is located in a “natural environment.” This is not an acceptable justification for lack of hygiene, especially when it comes to live cockroaches. Food was also an issue. One of us is vegan and was served mushrooms cooked in fish oil, making the dish inedible. The only compensation offered was a free dinner, which did not meet expectations. Before leaving, we also noticed a dead frog in the bottom of the pool. We decided to leave the hotel one day earlier than planned because we were not comfortable staying overnight with live cockroaches in the room. Overall, this hotel does not meet basic cleanliness or service standards and cannot be recommended.

Beautiful views, gorgeous resort with architecture inspired by tradition.

It's not the cheapest place to stay, both from a lrice per night but also smgenerally food and other add-ons being significantly more expensive than what you would find elsewhere in Vietnam (Laundry, local beer). Having said this, the quality and service makes up for it!

Bungalow was very cosy and in a quiet location overlooking the mountains. Bed was comfy, shower was good. Resort grounds and pool were really nice.

Bungalow was quite away from restaurant, pool and reception - They did have karts available to pick you up at any time. Wasn’t many sun loungers at the pool. Also we they didn’t have soft padding to lye on. When we turned up to the restaurant we were given a ‘western menu’ which didn’t have much on it. But there was a full menu that we were not made aware of, luckily I’d already checked google out beforehand and knew of the full menu. Found it a bit annoying the staff didn’t give us the option of either, thought it was a bit strange

Một nơi cực kỳ đáng đi khi đến Hà Giang! Không gian đẹp, yên bình, view núi và mây siêu chill. Phòng sạch sẽ, nhân viên thân thiện, đồ ăn ổn áp. Đi 2 ngày 1 đêm là vừa đủ để nghỉ ngơi và “reset” lại năng lượng. 💚 Nhất định sẽ quay lại!
