Stay Wild Retreats 'Glamping Pods and Tents'

Our tent was so comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen is really well equipped. Thank you!

Good location near to Chirk to get something to eat at night. Thomas liked the trampoline and the open air kitchen Nice to interact with the other guests Sauna looked great but we didn’t have enough time to fire it up maybe next time Shower was nice and warm in the morning Lovely to be greeted by the hosts and Fox’s smile made my day

The facilities are very basic and functional but we were expecting this. The owners were welcoming, sadly the weather wasn't! We were the only ones using the site so it felt very isolating. I suspect this place is much better when all the pods are full and its summer! We would return because it was not unpleasant and our young daughter felt it was an adventure. The views of the surrounding area where nice (except the A5).

The poor weather, which turned the sloped area where the pods are situated into a mud slide. No apparent heating in the pods. The noisy views of the A5.

Very out the way. Kids thought it was excellent we could see Wales the other side of the valley from England.

Great location. Great facilities. We chose the less optimal time of year for a glamping trip however. Can imagine it would be idilic in the spring and summer void of rain. (We stayed in February).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stay Wild escapes, a perfect get away in a great location to unwind and disconnect. Our hosts were great and very accommodating to make our night perfect, even setting the camp fire up for us. Pods are clean and cosy, bathroom facilities are great too. We enjoyed the thoughtful, small details such as blankets, board games and kitchen equipment (including teas, coffees & condiments). We are exited to return in the summer.

No plug sockets in pods but this adds to a more authentic camping experience, can be cold during night so I would recommend layering up :)

Great location if you are driving

Dosent represent good value for money at the price point. No main electricity in the ‘pods’ means there’s nowhere to charge a phone overnight, or run a heater so they can be ventilated. Meaning they foisty.
