Zen Boutique Retreat & Resort

This place is absolutely stunning! A peaceful, luxurious haven where your every need is catered for. The staff are lovely, the fresh food and fresh juices fantastic. The pool is surrounded by beautiful flowers, it is lovely to listen to the rustle of palm fronds in the breeze and birds singing. There is a gorgeous seating area/ viewing platform safari style, and the bathrooms are beautiful. Highly recommended.

The place is just as its name, Zen, it's a calm, quiet and very relaxed space. The owners and the staff are all friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are extremely clean.

The breakfast menu could be switched up. Having the same thing for a week got boring.

Var två barnfamiljer där, så mycket barnskrik och inte den avkoppling vi hade förväntat oss på en sådan här resort. Det tog ned hela vår känsla för vistelsen

The staff are amazing, super friendly, can not do enough for you! The resort itself is calm, peaceful and super intimate! The owners, Sarah and Ty just make you feel really welcome, helping at any opportunity they can, booking taxis, booking trips etc! The room is always super clean, maids attend twice a day! It really is a little gem of a boutique, will certainly be back and would recommend to anyone!

Zen Boutique Resort biedt alles om een ultieme ervaring op Zanzibar te hebben. De natuurlijke rust die je hier vindt, in combinatie met de heerlijke faciliteiten, is ongeëvenaard. De huisjes zijn heerlijk comfortabel, precies zoals je het wilt. Met een heerlijk stevig bed, met stijf gestreken lakens, een werkelijk fantastische douche in de buitenbadkamer en verder alles wat je hoopt aan te treffen. En last but not least, het personeel. Zó definieer ik gastvrijheid. Rust, servicegerichtheid en altijd een lach. Niets is teveel. Alles is goed. Overigens is personeel niet het juiste woord, het lijkt een familie, maar niet in de kleffe zin des woords. Dat bleek op de speciaal georganiseerde New Year Party, met BBQ, (fantastische) DJ en bubbels. De Zen-medewerkers dansten heerlijk mee het nieuwe jaar in. En oh ja, het eten is hier geweldig; de chef maakt er iets speciaals van. En, altijd supervers. Nee, eigenaren Sarah en Tyson hebben er op basis van hun visie iets bijzonders van gemaakt. Niet direct aan het strand, maar als onderdeel van de natuur op het eiland. Een parel op Zanzibar, that’s for sure.

Everything was better than expected. The staff are fantastic and helped to ensure the best days. Ty and Sarah were the best hosts - always attentive and present. And the food...Amazing.
