the layout of the room was spacious

The room was incredibly dark. There are windows on both sides of the room but they are overlooked by another hotel / shops so we needed the curtains closed for privacy the whole time. The pool areas look nice but no real nice place to relax on a sun lounger if that’s what you wanted to do. A tuk tuk is required to get into the main areas of El Nido town. We knew this when booking however our friends stayed right in town for the same cost and it was just easier for them overall so if I was to go back I would definitely recommend staying in town or on the beach.

Our bed was very comfortable, lovely staff, great food

Photos make it look very sunny and bright, our room was very dark, couldn’t open curtains either as surrounded by walk ways. The photos aren’t very realistic. The beach is not the best, we were hoping to be able to swim in the mornings.
