Loved the room so spacious. Yoga on the morning and a massage at night was a perfect balance

Bedroom and bathroom were nice and spacious however they look directly into another hotel on one side or onto a building site on the other side so couldn’t open the curtains.

I had food poisoning from arincini balls at the bar/restaurant. I know it was that because that was the only thing I had eaten that day and I had only drank their bottled water. Must of the staff were more interested in their phone then serving guests.

The room decor was amazing, plenty of plugs and a great hair dryer which is a rare find. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, they assisted with arranging trips transfers etc. nothing was ever too much trouble, always friendly and polite when walking about the hotel. Room was spotlessly clean. Location is perfect as it is close enough to the town and vanilla beach but not loud and busy in the evening.

Nicely styled hidden spot. Comfy rooms and green gardens. Massage and spa a bit pushy to get you in for treatments. A single complimentary teabag per guest seems out of step at this price point.

We stayed for 2 nights here and here is what we loved: - the design of the resort is lovely and feels like you’re in a jungle - room design and aesthetics are really nice too - breakfast is amazing, one of the best meals we’ve had during our whole trip to Philippines - focus on the environment through no plastic, water conservation awareness What we didn’t like are the many nuances added up which can’t be simply attributed to the fact that it’s a boutique resort: - when you arrive be prepared to be greeted by three dogs. Personally, don’t mind the dogs but dog phobia is real (7-9% of people have it) and the resort must be more accommodating and understanding that not all guests will love dogs - room nuance #1: to use the safe you need to use a key which is attached to the room key needed for electricity in the room - so you have 10 seconds before it turns dark in the room, then you have to use a flashlight - room nuance #2: they have a kettle but no convenient electricity outlet; you have to choose to boil water beside the bed or under the tv - room nuance #3: they offer you two towels per person but can’t offer you two glasses in the bathroom for your toothbrush and toothpaste - room nuance #4: no tissue in the room and you’re expected to use toilet paper - room nuance #5: there’s a low hanging light near the side of the bed which can easily hit your head as you’re using the outlets beside the bed so be prepared - room nuance #6: some rooms have a small drying rack outside to dry clothes. Ours didn’t. Given it’s an island where most people go to the beach it’s strange why not all rooms have that.

We arrived earlier than check-in time and it was pouring with rain, the staff were so lovely and gave us umbrellas and towels plus a welcome drink. We waited in the bar/restaurant until our rooms were ready. Beautiful rooms and lovely facilities. We had great massages and booked in for a pilates class. Location was okay, a few nice spots within walking distance but only a cheap tricycle to get to the beach so wasn't a problem.

Some of the service was slow, we waited an hour for our food to come out one night and there were no other customers in the restaurant. Also was surprising that we had to pay for the pilates class and the use of the sauna.

La cama era comodísima y muy grande. La habitación estaba limpia y el baño funcionaba perfectamente (algo no muy común en El Nido). El personal es muy amable, nos ayudaron con todo. El wifi no iba bien en la habitación y me dejaron estar en un espacio tranquilo con buena conexión para mis reuniones de trabajo. Ideal.

Good - Staff is very friendly and attentive and will follow through and up on tour requests - the suite with the round bed is amazing; quiet air con, beautiful aesthetics, very spacious and clean - the restaurant they partner with is wonderful: great service, lovely view on the garden and pool and the best food I have had in the Philippines so far To be improved - We had one severe issue: the air con, which is inconveniently over the bed so the cold air is always on you when you’re resting, started leaking in the middle of the night. It leaked into the adapter charging our phone. Luckily I woke up and the night staff was able to support. Nothing was offered to make up for this, which is quite disappointing. - I realise bottled water is not environmentally friendly, but I’ve had food poisoning too many times to accept distilled water. It’s annoying that they won’t even sell bottled water. - Everything is to be paid in cash which is impossible when atms only allow you to take out limited amounts and are often out of service - Private tours have the price of premium services but not the experience; guide almost always doing their own thing, food was awful. We are not sure if the food was bad but we both left with strong belly aches the day after - no bathroom door, be prepared to have no more secrets with your travel partner
