Porto Elounda Golf & Spa Resort, Six Senses Spa

We had a wonderful holiday at this resort. Great views from the rooms, very helpful staff, beautiful decor, great food and excellent facilities (and the water is fantastic). We really want to go back.

The location and facilities are excellent. The beach and the sea are wonderful for those who enjoy swimming in the ocean. It's sandy and you don't need shoes for the rocks.

Breakfast and dinner are on par with a 3-star hotel. The available options are very limited. The starters didn't even have cheese. Dinner didn't offer a single piece of fruit. A real disappointment. It failed to meet the minimum standards for what a hotel of this category should offer.

The view is beautiful and the staff, especially Amelia at Elias restaurant, are so helpful, friendly and attentive.

The spa pool was closed during our whole stay and work was ongoing in the spa whilst I was awaiting my treatment trying to relax. The price did not reflect the fact some of the facilities were closed and there was disruption. The restaurants open at 7pm which is late for a family friendly resort. Some times the food wasn’t ready for 7pm which was tricky juggling later eating with a young baby. Some restaurants were also closed as I presume it was out of peak season, but this wasn’t reflected in any details when booking the hotel. The resort is not completely wheelchair friendly, we were in the spa wing which had 7 steps before you got outside. Unless you went down one lift and up a different lift to be able to get outside with no steps, it made it difficult getting out with our young baby in the pram. We had to carry him down the steps and I ended up falling over with him in my arms. The room we were in could do with some modernising, the bathroom was very old and the bath was falling apart and very deep for bathing a baby, or even just an adult climbing in to have a shower. The food at breakfast and dinner is inconsistently labelled, as someone with allergens, it’s really helpful to know what can be eaten without bothering the chefs. Although all the chefs I spoke to were incredibly helpful!

Séjour très bien. Dommage cependant que de nombreux équipements soient en travaux, sans que cela ait été précisé lors de la réservation. Une meilleure information en amont aurait été appréciée.

Staff was super helpful and friendly, the room was great, pool and beach area as well. Perfect with little children

There was only one restaurant open per day, the service was slow at times. Food options were good but not 5 star
