Cha Bungalow

We were welcomed and looked after by the lovely owner Cha. You can also book a scooter and other activities directly with her if you want. The bungalows are located in a spacious garden with plenty of space between them next to a jungle area, so noises at night and possibly insects should not bother you (Bed has a mosquito net!) All in all, we felt very comfortable and even stayed a bit longer than planned.

VERY affordable; but no WiFi and simple facilities. A mosque next door, practically outside the bedroom window, which wakes you up 05.15 with morning prayer every day. Not possible to rent bikes. Close proximity to the essentials.

Very nice, cosy bungalows! With amazing terrace and amenities that u dont expect for the price/location. I dont ride motorbike or scooter so I was worrying if I was too far from beaches. Its quite flat island, i managed to cyrcle over it with single speed bicycle. Island has in total max 10 ups/downs where u can push it manually max for 1-2 min. You can rent bicycle from nearby shop (I was amazed that they dont lock bicycles on the island...). You can also reach beach/restaurants with 15-25 min walking. Taxies are quite affordable too 3-5 EUR (from Pier)

Of course lots of flies and insects as expected due to the location. However beds have mosquito net that was giving me peace of mind during sleep.

It’s rare to find a host like Cha—someone who can truly transform your holiday with their positivity and kindness. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel at home, always ready to help with anything (booking a boat transfer/taxi etc) She’s fun to talk to and makes you want to extend your stay—or even return to the island just to visit again! Beautiful bungalows surrounded by nature, with the soothing sounds of birds. Despite being a light sleeper, I honestly didn’t mind the music from the nearby mosque—it even added to the charm of the place. To explore the island fully, I highly recommend renting a motorbike. Cha provides great bikes no hassle, at a good price and delivers them in minutes! We originally booked for two nights but loved it so much that we extended. The only available bungalow was slightly more expensive, but it was well worth it: - Brand new with a fully equipped kitchen (we didn’t use it—Thai food is too good!). - Strong AC for a cool and comfortable sleep. - Higher location, meaning more breeze, a lovely porch, and an even better view. - I even slept through the morning mosque music! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with an amazing host, this is the place to be!

The accommodation was comfortable and basic. For the price, it is good value for money! Cha, the host, was exceptionally helpful and very kind. The bungalow was clean and well stocked. Thank you Cha!

We had a wonderful experience at this place. The bungalow is beautiful, with everything you need and surrounded by greenery and tranquility. Cha was attentive to everything and coordinated the entire itinerary for us to get to our next destination. She was very hospitable and kind. A special thanks to her. We definitely recommend it 100%!

Just perfect cannot be better.

This was my favourite spot I stayed in Thailand! If heaven was somewhere in my mind, this cute little bungalow would have been it. I see why all the reviews rave about these bungalows! The owner, Cha was so sweet. For 45 baht she brought me local breakfast, and organised a taxi driver to take me around the island (I don't drive a scooter), and organised a boat tour for me. I'll be back!!!

The location was a little bit hard to reach and taxis added up, but this spot made up for it!! The bed was a little hard, and the jungle noises/call to prayer were a bit loud, but this didn't take away from the experience at all for me!
