Rico Resort

Wonderful relaxing environment and extremely hospitable hosts. The architecture, the room, the open hallway with its seating, and the grounds just a delight. Stunning bathroom. Outstanding breakfast overseen by Emmy who also went out of her way to suggest an excellent, very reasonably priced, local restaurant for our evening meal.

this is the resort that you hope to find, and here it is, real and top quality. this hotel is in a green and quite area of a small town, and has a beautiful large garden with lakes, plants, flowers all around. at sunset you may think to be in africa... super large room excellent breakfast excellent hosts

Big rooms with a nice balcony. Beautiful gardens. Mr Rico is an interesting person to talk with. And we played tennis on the courts!

Swimming is at Rico’s private property, you can take a bicycle to get there.

Nature.

Not well equipped… no TV, no hairdryer… aircon was not working but the team shifted to another room. No breakfast. They were in the midst of upgrading the facilities. Hopefully, they equipped the resort so guests can be comfortable.

Slightly tricky to find even with using Google maps. The level of isolation may not be for everyone here but was fine by me. I'm not sure if it was because of low season or not (I was the only guest) but would definitely be a 10/10 if the restaurant was open. Its a beautiful location and for me once I'd arrived after a long ride I would have been very happy to have a beer and meal onsite rather than head off into town again in search of food

Excellent accomodation with so much character and charm. Beautiful building, beautiful surroundings and beautiful people as owners. Great breakfast, healthy and prepared with a lot of care by Emi.
