Very quiet location, sandy beach just a short scramble over the dunes. Caravan had all the equipment we needed

The access road is very bumpy and narrow, but normal cars can handle it provided the driver keeps the speed down.

I loved the location. I wanted isolation and solitude, and got it in abundance. Being able to step out of my caravan onto the sand dunes, walk up them and sit there to watch the sun set was perfection. To then lie in the marram grass and star gaze was exceptional and was exactly what I needed. The only thing that spoilt the beach was the fact that there were two massive excavators, two massive dump trucks and two huge bulldozers doing sea defence work. Whilst they spoilt the view and created a lot of noise I know it is temporary and also necessary. The caravan was lovely and clean, the bed was pretty comfortable although I did feel the springs a bit - I would actually recommend a mattress topper to make it more comfortable but it wouldn’t stop me staying there again. The kitchen was great and I cooked my own meals, I liked the smart TV, the heating was extremely efficient and so easy to operate. It would have helped to have the instructions on using the heater in the caravan but Richard was extremely helpful and didn’t mind me texting him. He was very helpful and quick to respond. The water pressure is brilliant too, I had a great shower every day. Being a caravan shower if you are a tall person or large you will naturally struggle to wash in them but that’s the nature of caravans, it didn’t affect me in the slightest. Also, there’s loads of storage space too. In short, I didn’t want to leave and checked out at 09:58 to make the most of the time I had there. I loved it. I absolutely loved it.

One thing - access If you get travel sick you will hate the access to the site. It’s a sandy track with very deep pot holes on it and I was thrown around a bit in my little Fiesta as it is so bumpy and uneven. You literally have to go at crawling speed which is no problem whatsoever but it is slightly uncomfortable.

Small group of mobile homes on a quiet secluded site. Very close to the beach - just the other side of the dunes. Our caravan was comfortable and warm, and equipped with everything we needed. TV, WiFi, heating and cooker all worked (not always the case in some accommodation we have tried!). Pleasant views across farmland, the only noise at night was owls hooting, and the lack of light pollution means you can see millions of stars on a clear night.

Visitors must keep in mind the nature of this site - no clubhouse/shop/entertainment. The beach is just a beach - no deck chairs & candyfloss! The surrounding roads are narrow and the access track is rough. Not a problem for a normal car, provided you drive slowly - but you wouldn't really want to 'nip out' to the pub or shop after dark.

The caravan was clean Sharon was amazing and couldn't have asked for better

Lovely quiet location near the sea down a secluded sandy lane. Not for those that like a lot of activities.and nightlife. We had lots of walks, saw seals. We did wonder how they managed to get the caravans there. Lovely views of countryside.

Shame about the floodlight on the owners house as it would be ideal for star gazing.
