"Peppers Resort Great - but Apartment 7503 Terrible!"

2.0

We just spent 6 nights at Peppers Resort and loved the resort, friendly, helpful staff and location - nestled beside the beautiful National Park, but just a quick walk to Hastings Street - great! Unfortunately however the apartment we were assigned was TERRIBLE. Room 7503 - a 2 bedroom apartment, well located but horribly outdated. Furniture falling apart, dirty, stained and sunbleached, no bedside lamps, rusty rubbish bin, plastic coffee mugs - ugh. Peppers apartments are owned by individual owners - therefore if the owner is not inclined to maintain the property and furnishings it ends up like this apartment. I've written to management to raise this issue - I believe if you are staying in a Resort like Peppers you should be able to expect a certain level of quality fitout regardless of who owns the apartment. If as in this case, the owner is not prepared to maintain the apartment it should not be rented. So if you are planning a stay at Peppers make sure you are not assigned this apartment and i'm sure you'll have a wonderful stay.

Great location, beautiful landscaping. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Steam room and pool were lovely.

Our room had a very strong damp smell.

"Tired resort in need of maintenance"

6.0

This was our second stay at Peppers Noosa. While the buffet breakfast was good. That’s where things ended for us. The resort has not changed in the 8 years since our last stay. I’d describe its current state as mutton dressed as lamb - aged well on the outside but inside the apartments are tired, dark and poorly maintained/cleaned. They are in desperate need of a lick of paint, new carpeting or flooring and more regular and higher quality housekeeping. We reported the toilet in our apartment malfunctioning twice in order to have it fixed. While the staff were friendly and pleasant, there were regular breakdowns in communication particularly around how regular the housekeeping service should be. The TV in the living area was connected to Foxtel but no free to air channels which was strange. TV in main bedroom has terrible reception and could not connect to internet or streaming services. I also don’t understand why resorts in QLD don’t include fly screens on doors - some people like fresh air instead of stale air con, but it’s impossible to leave doors open because of the bugs and no screens. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and I’ve never known a 4 star resort to claim that they only provide weekly housekeeping and that guests need to ask for more toilet paper and fresh towels. That needs to be better communicated on check in. For the price you pay and being located high on a hill, this resort is simply not worth the price tag and I’m sure there are better places to stay

"Great accommodation close to Hastings St"

8.0

The staff were fantastic, particularly Eden who took us on the buggy too many times to count and Georgia on reception who followed up on issues with real professionalism and care. The breakfast buffet was great too as was our room.

The bedroom with the single beds backing on to the lift lobby needs curtains as the outdoor lighting shines into the room at night. Some more utensils like a citrus juicer and more saucepans would be helpful.
