"Awesome experience"

I booked this property without any expectations but surprisingly enjoyed a lot. I liked the cleanliness of all places including rooms, amenities etc. Value for money and we have a peaceful time over there.

"Nice place for a good break"

Nice resort to go with family. Pri ate beach access is available. The swimming pool was good. Spa and other activities are good. Breakfast was nice. The restaurant and bar was good.

Can be better maintained. Buildings kind of old in many places.

The Grande Bay resort has, of course less sprestige than the the other luxury hotels close by but have much more decent prices during the weekend. They did their best to allocate me a very nice room. Staff, from reception to bar or restaurant, were very welcoming and smily. Excellent breakfast. I only stay one night so I haven't been able to enjoy all facilities but they propose several as afternoon tea time. They arranged me a city tour by tuk tuk.

Musical playlist in the hotel could be much nicer than 80-90s hits.

Everything…this resort is the place to go if you want to have a relaxing vacation with the warmest staff taking wonderful care of you. The room was perfect as described, the swimming pool was big and well maintained, the private access to the beach lovely. The breakfast spread was delicious with a lot of options. Since we are vegan and had informed earlier, the staff took utmost care to ensure we had many options. They even procured soy milk specially for us. The complimentary high tea was also very good. Also, the resort is walkable distance from the main attractions in Mahabalipuram. The restaurant in the resort is wonderful, with a lot of tofu options. However, if you need a change, the restaurant A2B is right across offering you some extra options as well. The best part however is the amazing staff. The people are warm, welcoming, and so helpful.
