Everything! It was the most beautiful place transporting you to places like Bali. A well kept secret.

The beach which is a short walk away is stunning. Everything in the hotel is well decorated and stylish and feels very laid back. Pool and spa excellent. Rooms lovely. Food good standard. Olympus a must see!

There is no hotel reception - you are given a personal assistant instead who shows you the room and you can message him if you need anything and this didn’t always work well. It is a positive that the area is not built up and touristy but the downside of that is it was hard to get accurate local information. An example of this is that we went to Olympus which was amazing but it was a torturous walk in the heat - hotel said 15 mins but more like 40 mins and it was very hot the day we went. Some advice about this and water to take would have been good.

Kimera was a holiday paradise that far exceeded our expectations. The cabins range from modest single rooms with an en suite and more extensive family-suitable bungalows (pensions). The hotel has incredible facilities on site and is basically on the beach with its own designated lounger area that was never over crowded. The hotel pool and spa facilities were delightful and perfect for a sun drenched holiday in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. The ancient Lycean harbour city of Olympos is a leisurely stroll along the beach front. The mysterious fire breathing hillside 'chimera' is a short drive and 20 minute hike away. The hotel has been finished to a high standard and the restaurant is outstanding. This is an ideal holiday for families looking for a quieter, sun, sea and sand holiday or for couples after a bit of luxury. The staff were highly attentive, helpful and work incredibly hard to provide the guests with a perfect stay.

Kimera was almost exceptional. A few minor points would make it a 10. 1) The hotel is graced with many animals which we loved. However, prepare to be awoken by the resident cockerel at dawn every morning. This was a bit of a nuisance to be honest on a relaxing get away. 2) The air conditioning in our room (one of the more modest on site) was loud and a bit unreliable. 3) We had to buy our own bottle opener for the room although we had requested one twice. 4) The on site bar closes at 10 which is probably due to the family-oriented nature of the site and the long shifts the staff put in. A 20 minute walk into Olympos is the only option if you want to stay up later than 10. But these are all quite minor considering our stay was really wonderful.

It was a lovely experience from start to finish. The complex is very well set up with each restaurant having a different vibe but each with really helpful and friendly staff. The food is excellent and varied in the different restaurants. Breakfast is amazing and with a lovely range of dishes available. The rooms are clean and well equipped with excellent staff cleaning and changing linen each day. Each area of the complex is well maintained with staff tending to the various jobs quietly and efficiently. The pool is lovely and getting drinks poolside is easy and adds to the pleasurable experience. The beach is a ten minute walk with recliners for the complex guests separate from public areas. Golf cart available to transport people if needed. Drinks also served from 12.30. All of the staff are terrific- helpful, friendly and courteous. Our personal assistant was Furkan who was a total delight. He looked after us efficiently and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was funny, friendly and super helpful. Brilliant service. We will definitely be going again.

It would be a bonus if there was a beach hut to change in or toilet facilities near to the beach. That said it is only a ten minute walk back to the complex. There is nothing about the property to dislike, it is brilliant.
