Charming old school log cabin

Noisy neighbors who were directly next door to us. They didn’t honor the quiet time hours of 8-10. They were up early at 7:00am talking very loudly. They seemed to be with a group/family. The resort was empty except for them and there were lots of other rooms available that wouldn’t have been right on top of us

Cute cabin decor. Really had everything we needed. Comfortable beds.

The check in process. I do not have email on my phone so I did not get the door code for the room. I much prefer a desk with a staff member for check in. Also the door lock was unpredictable with a lot of repeat punching in the numbers. The cabin was small. With limited spots to lay out your belonging. The bathroom was very small with only a tiny spot for supplies. The shower was so small you could not get out from under the shower spray or bend over to wash your legs without banging your head. There was a grand supply of towels and wash cloths.They were stacked up high on a rack over the toilet. During our last night, guess where some of the towels and wash clothes ended up! I also think the motel should warn the guests that their driveway goes straight down. Tricky with a corvette.

Location

Water in bathroom sink is difficult to shut off and shower stall is extremely small for a full size adult. Plus we found a roach on our ceiling.

Todd the owner was great, accommodating, informative. Loved that we had a code to lock the door instead of a key.
