Cramers Point Lake Breeze

Comfortable bed, clean kitchen , staff response to some loose boards on deck entrance was adequate. staff came and nailed them down to help prevent tripping. Shower pressure good with plenty of hot water. Quiet and restful.

Pool was not very clean until our third day there. Second day, the automatic cleaner was plugged in and left in the pool all day, but never moved. They claimed access to the lake but it was very overgrown and difficult to navigate the path. We were unable to get down there and the lake was not visible from the property. Parking spaces were numbered, very convenient when we arrived, but as the place got busier, our space was taken and had to park a little further down the road. Exteriors were a bit overgrown and in need of updating and a good cleaning. The pool needs a handrail on the steps into the water, not easily accessible. Reported a leaking toilet, but there was no response, bathroom floor wet and linoleum lifting, so this was apparently not a new problem.

The pool, beach, cabin, and patio of cabin were all excellent! Our cabin lad a lake view (can see Lake George through the treeline.) There is a property owner association beach that Cramers Point guests have access to. It's quiet and fairly secluded for such a popular area. I liked that canoes were available at the private beach for no charge.

Staff was excellent, beach access with free use of boats and kayaks, small grocery/deli/liquor store 2 mins away

We came up for Adirondack nationals car show , could not park our truck & trailer on site, but we did have people local on standby, I don’t expect places like this to accommodate trailers & additional vehicles for the stay,please don’t take this as a complaint!

The pools and kids toys were really fun.

But it was not clear to me before I booked that the lake access was so completely awful it was not worth using. There was a trail down a very steep hill you take that was fully blocked halfway down by neighbors cars and almost impossible to navigate. The beach it self was all dirt, and the small beach area was crowded in by large amenities & boat houses from neighbors. The water was the muckiest I’ve seen in Lake George. After seeing it we didn’t return during our 3 day stay. Better and easier to use a public beach.
