Altin Yunus Hotel & SPA - Çeşme

The room is average. Certainly not 5 Star facility, to me more like a 3 star. Although I have been to better 3 Stars for example in Italy. Beach area was nice, but again the facility in the beach was not like a 5 star hotel. Hotel is dated and have not been renovated for a long time.

The hotel is old, not renovated. not many staff speak English bearing in mind that its a resort and they have to cater for foreign visitors!! Unfortunately not honest staff, as on the last day of our stay, I forgot to remove a few items of jewellery (not gold) and my watch in the bedside drawer and I contacted hotel as soon as we landed back home. The receptionist said that they will have a look at the room in the morning and ask the lost property of the hotel. In the next few days whenever I called OR communicated by emails through hotel or booking.com portal, I was told that nothing was left in the room, but I am more than 100% sure that I left everything in the bedside drawer. My only conclusion is that the staff are not honest!!! :-( AND THE MANAGEMENT DONT CARE!!!

Quality of food was good

Service was appalling at the reception desk and at all restaurants (lobby, beach bar and marina restaurant). Too many examples to list here! Reception tried to place us in unrefurbished rooms on the first floor, only later on complaint were we moved to slightly more updated rooms on the second floor, but still very poor standard for the money paid.

Location is good. Breakfast ok.

Run down ! Built in 1974! Not renovated properly! No English TV channels in a so called 5 start outlet !

I absolutely LOVED this hotel. If I come back, I will stay here again. The staff was so amazing and helpful. The room was very clean. They even upgraded my room to a sea view. I was so happy here. And the beach is amazing.

Kind staff although they only speak Turkish.

The building is very old, rooms do not look appealing or welcoming. the temperature of the air conditioning cannot be set for the individual rooms and it’s also very noisy (even when you switch yours off you can still hear the vent from other rooms). They have tennis courts but you need to travel there with your own equipment as they don’t have anything you can rent on site. Breakfast is very average, served in a big, super noisy and warm room.

The spa was nice

It has no activities or shows or any facilities other than the spa The beach you swim in is shared and is on the other side of the hotel The marina is just for show, there are no boat trips, no shows, and no beach activities
