The location is top-notch, literally 1 min walk to the beach and view-points. The owner of the lodge is super friendly and such a sweet helpful person! She’s happy to help you with whatever request you might have. Laundry is free of charge. As many times as you need it. The lodge is quiet, amidst nature and civilization at the same time (unbelievable, right?). 4-5 min walk to 3 shops including 7/11. I would definitely come back. Highly recommend it. Price-Quality ratio is 100/10😁

This place was one of the highlights of my tour of SE Asia! It’s a family owned and run complex of small chalet style rooms and although it was one of the cheapest on booking.com, what you get for your money is way over and above what you’d expect. On day one, the lady owner did my washing for me and for free! She asked me several times if I needed more throughout my two week stay. Laundry isn’t the most expensive item to worry about on a holiday but for her to do it several times for free I thought, was a lovely touch. Then, she asked me if I needed a motorbike, I did and she gave me one for free! For the duration of my stay! She told me to phone her if there were any problems with the bike and if I got a puncture to get it fixed and she’d reimburse me, I did get a puncture and she did reimburse me!! Usually when you hire a motorbike, they say that if you get a puncture, it’s up to you to fix it and that’s when your PAYING for the bike, I just thought it was a great touch. Last but not least, when I was due to leave, she booked me a free taxi to the airport! When you deduct all of these free services from what you pay for the room, it’s amazing value. The complex is really quiet and it was nice to sit on my balcony and relax, talking to the other residents who were all nice. I’m going back next year and will book this place again well in advance to make sure I can stay, I’d be very disappointed if I couldn’t.

Absolutely wonderful host. Responsive, easygoing, helpful. I’ve got free laundry done, and could check out later than the original time. Beautiful setting between trees, with birds singing in the morning. Liked the terrace attached to the room. Nice location near the beach.Feels like home.

The room was a bit outdated, the plugs were old, it took a long time to charge my phone. The WiFi was slow. Towels were very old and useless.
