Great location with direct way to the beach. Mostly quiet and no opposite neighbour (clear view to trees). Nice small terrace. The landlord Masha was extraordinarily helpful and you have moto rent and laundry service there.

Bed was too soft for me and it easily swings and makes noise when moving or turning around your body. No closet or shelf beside the bed.

Nice staff and beautiful setting. Room was spacious. Kitchen was nice. Balcony was lovely.

Bathroom really needs some work. Like really really.

The place is quite simple and definitely nothing luxurious; a bit old furniture and interiors - looks like a bungalow decorated a few decades ago, but everything is absolutely functional and the price is really nice. The private apartment with kitchen I booked was cleaned quite well (there were some spiders in the corners but if you know how the world of insects work in such small, tropical islands, you're happy to have house spiders and geckos to catch mosquitoes and ants for you :) ). Very efficient air conditioner and water heater. Wi-fi worked flawlessly. Very comfortable bed (not too soft), I slept like a child there. Having an outsite kitchen was so convenient (although I had to clean it after previous guests). The location is SUPERB. Beautiful garden with thousands of butterflies, birds, blossoming plants and a private viewpoint. Few minutes walk to the nicest part of Lamai beach, to Makro, BigC, Post Office, Tops and 7-eleven and 20 minutes walk to the most crowded, touristic street. Local cats visit you (one even slept with me) - some neighbor takes care of them so they're healthy and fed and just seek some company. The nicest owner, gentle, kind, speaking very good english and having a good word for everyone!

The towels - all three were the type that doesn't absorb water at all so it was quite difficult to dry myself after a shower. The light in bathroom - it was really poor, a stronger bulb would be useful. The pool isn't cleaned, not suitable for use. The part of concrete path in the garden, leading up to private apartments was tricky, really slippery after the rain - I fell down on it twice even though I used good trekking shoes. This part of path seems dangerous and could be substituted with some simple stairs. Fortunately, after you learn about this part of path, you can choose another way around.
