Food and cost of food

The natural view around the hotel is excellent.

The food price is exceptionally high. For a simple dinner of 3 adult the hotel charged Rs 3700. One boul of rice priced Rs. 500. It is better to take dinner outside the Hotel

The view of Kanchunjunga from our room was very nice. You can enjoy the sunrise from the mountain facing rooms. The property is old but well maintained. Can be much better with few make over in their bathroom. The floor tiles are very old and dirty. The breakfast buffet was good.

Lot of items in their room service menu was not available. On the day of our arrival we were informed that the room service is till 9:30 pm and the last order is at 9 pm . The reception staff kept us calling from 8pm and asking us to place our order. Initially they asked whether we will like to come down for the buffet and since we didn't want to eat much we refused and ordered room service. It was then only then they kept on refusing whatsoever we ordered. Finally we had to settle down with few snacks. We could feel that kitchen staff were reluctant to make momos and Paneer tikka which was a part of the room service menu . When you have a property at far off location with no good restaurants nearby, the property should ensure that the items mentioned in the menu are available. Secondly they should have a round the clock menu for late arrival guests.
