One of the most beautiful hotels we stayed in during our trip to Oman. The staff are absolutely lovely, the room is very comfortable, and the breakfast offers a truly wide selection. The pools are really well maintained and very large; there are areas reserved exclusively for adults. The hotel also allowed us to stay the day after our night to enjoy the pool, we really appreciated that.

Amazing staff, excellent food, great for families and kids. Brilliant stay!

*Large hotel with very diverse facilities (multiple swimming pools incl. kids friendly ones, snorkelling, diving classes, etc) *Food is ok/ rather good most of the time (I would say average), depended a lot on the day/ buffet theme. A la carte restaurants are very good *Personnel is mostly friendly

*Watch out when you book because if you book a standard room and you’re staying with kids, you automatically get transferred to the lower standard Double Tree Hotel, which is more like a kids hotel, and this is nowhere mentioned in the booking process. There was no way to upgrade (we were told the other part is fully booked, so no chance to transfer even though we were willing to pay for it). Luckily you can use any part of the hotel (all restaurants, all pool areas, etc) but we would have liked to have our room in the “nicer” part of the hotel *Rooms and facilities in general are quite old and would need some serious refurbishment for the price of the hotel. Standard of the hotel does not match the price in my opinion *Overall we had a nice stay but the hotel is overpriced for the standard of the facilities, food, etc. If you’re looking for a “true” 5-star hotel, I cannot recommend it
