Legends Beachfront Resort

Gorgeous views and right on the beach! One of my fav places that I stayed during my 2 weeks in Bali. Beyond beautiful balcony where I could sit and watch the surfers all day everyday. Also loved the amenities in the room - from the Bluetooth speaker, to the complementary fruit/cookies and actual dishes/metal forks/knives/spoons to the bottles of wine in the mini-bar. Loved putting everything in the safe and being able to walk out the door and enjoy the day on the beach without having to worry about any of my belongings!

Nothing! They thought of everything! You can even get lattes from the bar downstairs, which seems to still be in the process of being finished. As others have noted - definitely be aware that there a ton of steps to get down to the accommodation. It didn’t bother me since I only popped up once to get a few items from the mini-mart at the top and enjoyed all the restaurants on the beach. They also have porters to help with your luggage.

Basically, we liked everything very much. The staff is lovely and very helpful, the rooms are very nice, the beds are big and comfortable and the view is great. I would have loved to rate the hotel a 10 but would not book it again because of that one problem....

Depending on the direction of the wind or no wind, it pushes all the smoke from the large BBQ restaurant downstairs directly onto the balconies of the hotel. The first taste comes at midday and in the evening you are totally smoked in. On the first 3 days we were lucky that the wind blew in the right direction and on the next three without wind we couldn't be on the balcony from 4pm at the latest. So if you're unlucky, you book a beachfront hotel and can't use the balcony at sunset. The problem could be solved relatively easily with a chimney.

The views are amazing from the room and the decor is lovely.

-Lots of construction going on down either side of the narrow set of steps to get to property - not much option nearby other than the beach…for example to go for dinner nearby / down the bottom of the cliff, you have to climb back up to top of hill - not always reception staff on the desk and when we asked about motorbike hire they just point to top of the stairs (we found somewhere to rent in the end but not sure it was the right place)

The view is absolutely spectacular and the room is immaculate. The service was outstanding and very helpful with bringing our bags down to Bingin beach
