The staff were amazing and friendly. They were quick to assist us with everything we needed, including requests related to the room and transportation/tours around Bohol. The swimming pool and waterslide were also beautiful and a big hit with our kids. Our kids spent hours playing in the pool and riding the water slide at the end of each day of adventure traveling the island. The location on top of the hills lends itself to some beautiful views. The location has a ton of potential and offers a unique spot for tours focused on a side of bohol away from the beaches. We used this as a jumping off point for days at the Tarsier Sanctuary, Chocolate Hills, Waterfalls and Caves, and lots of beautiful and memorable sites.

The shower didn't have enough water pressure for any meaningful washing, and the luxury villa we stayed in did not seem sealed properly (cracks in doors and underneath doors, windows, etc.). I know we were staying in a rural area, but we had a constant battle with ants, spiders, etc. in our room. Mostly harmless... but still an annoyance for the price we paid, and it caused undue stress for our kids who had trouble sleeping after seeing a few large spiders in the shower our first night which i tried to catch and release outside. The ant problem extended beyond our room. The restaurant also had a large, visible number of ants (and some wasps) patrolling. Tables regularly had to be washed down to wipe the ants away. Even with that and attentive staff, we ended up finding ants in our breakfast eggs, toast, and other food items at different meals...crawling on our plates, wrapped in our place settings with the silverware, and more. I am not sure what the property can do about ants given it's location in a rural area of the hills and surrounded by nature on all sides...but the ant infestation (and lack of water pressure or usable shower) really negatively impacted what would have otherwise been a generally positive stay. Even the ants in our room could have been overlooked if we didn't have them crawling on / cooked into our breakfast.

We are a party of 5 and all of us were very happy. The staff was outstanding, very friendly, and enthusiastic. The restaurant turned out very tasty food at each meal we had there. The view from the balcony of the restaurant was wonderful. The resort provided transport to a variety of attractions in the southern half of Bohol island. We did a day-trip that included the Chocolate Hills and another that included a boat trip on the Loboc River. This is the rainy season in the Philippines but we were lucky with the weather and had lots of sunshine. I didn't see one mosquito in the four days we were there. They provided Baygon tablets in the accommodation so I wasn't awakened during the night by the annoying buzzing that destroys my sleep. The resort is built into the side of a small mountain so people should realize that there are a lot of steps to be climbed up and down. They should also realize that, as a mountain resort, there is no beach on or near the property.

Nothing really, everything was just as we could have hoped it would be.

Had a wonderful stay at the resort! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the place was clean and peaceful, and the views were absolutely relaxing. Perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Definitely coming back!

My kids loved the pool with the slide. I loved the view. The food was also delicious.

The steps were extremely slippery that I actually fell down the flight of stairs between the restaurant and the lower pool causing my whole left thigh to bruise.

The location is relatively remote. This both plus and minus. It means it is peaceful, but you have to take taxi to get anywhere and the taxi prices are relatively high.
