Good place at a remote location, well built up

Staff needs to be trained, breakfast needs to be improved

We stayed in the treehouse, it was clean and comfortable although the bed could be a little bigger. The restaurant had a good menu and was very tasty, Jonny who worked in the restaurant was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Once the sun came down the monkey’s came out to play which was lovely to watch. It overlooks curtioum lake and a church very idyllic. Swimming pool was absolutely lovely too

There was no hot water and very little water came out of the shower, this needs to be addressed. On checkout they did not accept English debit or credit cards, so make sure you have cash. I made a bank transfer then my bank declined it. I then paid at my next location it turned out I paid twice. Still waiting for a refund… but it’s in process.

A well designed resort, a fusion between nature and contemporary architecture and landscape gardening.

The property is set on a hillside adjacent to a lake with some rooms having a view across the water. We were given a friendly welcome and quickly shown to our rooms which contained a helpful booklet describing local places worthy of a visit. A huge bonus comes in the shape of a good sized pool (photographs on the web site don’t do it justice) where the is also a lively bar offering two for one cocktails at happy hour. Meals are served in the dinning area adjacent to the reception. Breakfast is a plentiful buffet supplemented by eggs to order. The evening menu offered plenty of choice and the food was excellent. Just to be clear, the WiFi was free across the resort and served us well.

The bathroom could have been a little bigger, but on the upside there was plenty of hot water. Our main problem was finding the location. Perhaps describing it as “adjacent to the lake” or “50 metres from the lake before arriving in the village from the direction of Margao , rather than the current “near the lake”, would assist first time visitors in finding the resort. One final suggestion. Don’t wait until there is more than one guest by the pool before turning on the waterfall; it is a real asset which I am sure everyone will enjoy in equal measure.

Amazing setting with beautiful forest. All rooms are individual. full of character and well maintained. Nice area to explore too with friendly staff on hand to help.
