Nature's Eye Resort

Vraiment très beau au milieu de la nature, très reposant.

Le lieu est magnifique mais vraiment perdu et difficile d'accès, la plage c'est des pierres pas de sable

Mosquitoes - but I guess that’s part of living near a mangrove swamp! The resort does everything possible to minimize the discomfort, including free lotion and mosquito nets.

The staff are all friendly and cheerful. The place is great, a perfect scenic spot. The room is spacious and the food is delicious (fair to its price). Ms. Angel is very accommodating and we never had any problems during our stay.

Schön abgelegen und ruhig. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wunderbare Aussicht vom Zimmer. Ein guter Ort zum Abschalten und um für sich zu sein. Ganz wichtig ist zu erwähnen das man gut zu Fuß sein muß um das Resort zu erreichen, wenn das nicht der Fall ist, nicht zu empfehlen.

I like the room and the best part of it is the bathroom. The room is so comfy and elegant. The view is nice. The sea breeze is so good. I stayed in the terrace to work and no need for fans. You can literally hear the sea waves, birds, the nature. It is a good escape from the busy worklife. Wifi is also good (except if the weather is bad). The staffs are exeptional! They will bring your baggage from and to the resort and parking lot (manually carry them, yes). They are also sooo accommodating.. love their low tone and sweet accent.

Better coordinate with the staff before you go. I went there and I found out that I need to hike for 7to 10minutes from the parking lot (not good at hiking here coz of asthma). Do not use your car all the way to the resort. Your car will be stuck in the mud, esp if it is rainy season! I did not bring extra slippers, so my slippers are sooo muddy. I traveled solo, so solo swims are not allowed. They will allow solo swim, but it is your decision if you want to risk it. No shore during high tide. You will see dead corals and rocks during low tide, so it's better to wear aqua shoes. The water is not that calm when I stayed, and it seemed that there are portions with RIP current. They also told me that there may be box jellyfish present and I need to be alert in the water. But the water is blurred and "disturbed" as if there are strong current under the sea water. I tried the other part of the beach, but i was too scared to even walk coz the sand was too mushy that my foot were stuck 7 inches when i first stepped on it. It was hard to remove it and I felt like I stepped on a quick sand. There are lots of mosquitos, but the management tried to lure them out by smoke. But i have asthma! They like to put the smoke out when i dined in at the resto, but I told them not to coz the other guests might want to lure the mosquitos out. But even with fan and all, i checked out with smokey smell and triggered asthma. Anyway, this is not for solo traveller and family trips. But I do recommend this place for couples. Better hire a boat for Island hopping to have a better guimaras experience. I have lots of videos, but i only have 1 photo to share huhu

The staff were friendly and helpful. They would always take time to greet you and ensure you have what you need. Also, the view from our room is amazing.

If you are a fan of swimming in the beach, you may have a hard time since it is rocky and during our stay, the waves are a bit strong. However, as an alternative, you can walk around 10 minutes to a nearby beach which has white sand and calmer waves.

Stayed at Nature's Eye for 6 days with my spouse. I like the quietness and very peaceful atmosphere. I spent time each day at the balcony to watch boaters and fishermen; was able to go island hopping and snorkel. Staff were great and very helpful. At one point that my husband did not feel good, staff ( especially Theresa), went above and beyond to help us out. If you plan to visit keep in mind that your vehicle can't come all the way into the property, you have to walk on mostly dirt path for about 10 minutes and gets muddy during the rainy season. Staff helped us carry our suitcases. Also, this resort is close to another island resort, some nights i heard party music but did not bother me.
