You should know, that Phu quoc is a very specific place, mostly very poor and dirty. According to this the hotel is quite ok. The nearest beach is Sao beach, which is littered and dirty, please go to Khem beach, which is very good.

The surroundings are awful, feels like India. You will have to go to sunset town for a dinner, it is a 15-20 minutes drive.
