I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff was absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and valued, always greeting me with a smile and happy to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself was spotless, well maintained, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. What really made the stay special, though, was the incredible team. Their kindness, professionalism, and positive attitude created such a welcoming atmosphere and made the experience unforgettable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family. A huge thank you to all the staff for such a lovely stay

This is a resort with lots of somewhat antique styles and lush surroundings. The location high up on a hill allows for great views and plenty of wildlife that makes plenty of interesting noises at night. The room was large and comfortable, with interesting artwork and a great view of the sea below. The bathroom was also large and nicely equipped, with great water pressure and a good warm shower that never ran out. I stayed four nights here and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I had planned to rent a scooter but never did because the weather was pretty bad and I had already spent 2 1/2 weeks on the island exploring it on wheels.

So, I wanted to stay in and watch some movies. Well, sadly the Internet connection down in room 6 was a big problem. It was great in the lobby restaurant with a proper, high-speed connection, but not down there. This was very frustrating and I often had to switch to using my phone as a hotspot which I try to avoid because of my limited data plan. I mentioned this to the friendly man at the front desk on many occasions but there seemed to be noone on staff who could really sort this out. Considering all the different Wifi addresses that show up, the entire system probably needs to be re-visited by an IT expert. So, it you need a good internet connection for your stay, you should request a room close enough to the lobby. I twice had problems with the lock-box which stopped working and required a staff member to unlock it with a special key. Probably just old and prone to failing. Another aspect of the room with the sea view is that there are these small motorboat taxis that ferry people from the local pier to the Eastside beaches for parties and back. So, on 2 out of the 4 nights, they ran all night long, back and forth with rather loud engines that can be heard even with all windows and the balcony door closed. So much for enjoying the sound of the sea on those nights. Of course, this is nothing the hotel can do anything about. But, you should be aware! The roof-top restaurant which is separate from the hotel has great potential but it is waisted because the people running it are not present and don't seem to care. I had two pasta dishes there and they were good. The place is ruined by people smoking pot up there, young staff that treats the place as their handout and a very limited menu. The restaurant is newly opened and won't succeed with such little care by the folks managing it.

- de airco werkt niet - de kamer is niet goed afgesloten van buiten: geen raam in de badkamer (enkel muggennet), overal openingen tussen de deuren -> hierdoor voelt alles continu vochtig aan - er staat een grote steen in de kamer die ook niet goed is afgewerkt waardoor het enorm binnenregende in de kamer en al mijn spullen nat/kapot waren
