Maple Hut Four Acre Farm

The shepherds hut’s quiet location was wonderful and with the log fire burning …perfect weekend escape ! Lovely to have unique accommodation rather than just a hotel room.

Added to its charm having a bathroom in a different hut, and it was also a great size bathroom … we loved this, but maybe not for everyone.

it was soooo clean and super cozy. exactly what i wanted and even better. i absolutely loved the log burner and the wood was enough for one night. we were also greeted with a very friendly cat called crash who looks like mufasa. also the horse was super friendly too!! the bathroom was beautiful and the shower was an amazing experience and the body wash provided smelt so good i’ve bought my own. even woke up to snow i have never felt so cozy in my life im definitely coming back

i wish there was a fridge so we could keep our food and drinks cold, but it’s okay because it was almost frozen outside so we kept them on the doorstep. i also almost got stuck in the lodge because the key wouldn’t unlock the door but we managed

Clean and tidy facilities, log burner was a nice addition.

Bed was comfy but a bit on the short side for me personally. Slightly overpriced considering the walk to the toilet and showers in the dark.

So quirky and quaint! Such a lovely experience and everything was so perfect 👌 the hut was so warm and cosy, a little piece of heaven away from the world 🙏

A very cute and cosy Shepherds hut, in a private field. Perfect distance from everything else to be peaceful. The hut kept very warm overnight (during a storm!) and had everything you need to be self sufficient (stove, kettle, grill and BBQ outside). Lots of little touches in the hut that was very considerate of the owner (umbrella just in case, jug in the cupboard so you could have more than just a glass of water on the beside table overnight, information booklet on the nearest pharmacy, hospital and sites to see). Shower was also nice and powerful. Owner very kindly checked in via text when we arrived even though it was late, and gave us a contact mobile in advance if we had any issues, which was very reassuring but also perfect for an introvert like myself.

It was perfect, all exactly as shown in the pictures. Beautiful spot, lovely cosy cabin!

Nothing! The super bright torch also very helpful for night time trips to the loo.
