Songbird Safari Lodge & Campsite

Best hospitality in Uganda. Highly recommended if you visit Queen Elizabeth National Park in Katunguru sector. The park’s main gate is just few minutes drive from the lodge. The lodge manager Hans and his assistant Innocent are extremely helpful and took really good care of me.

Nice place to stay. The staff and the owner are very friendly and the food is delicious. There are many animals coming close to the lodge. We could observe Elephants while having breakfast.

Garotti and Hans are wounderfull hosts. It was home far away from home. During dinner as well as breakfast there was a visite from an elephant on the lodge ground.

Location is central for visiting Queen Elizabeth National Park. The staff and owners are super friendly, and the food is seriously incredible!! There were animals out and about at night on the property, including elephants and hippos. Shower had hot water, everything was very clean.

The units are right next to each other, in the pics they seemed like they might be more spread out. Overall a non-issue though, just more of an FYI.

Amazing stay with the most wonderful warm welcoming hosts, very clean and comfortable rooms in a peaceful nature setting. Elephants, hippos, antelopes and warthogs all wandering just meters from my room, Lodge very conveniently located close to all QENP attractions and hosts very helpful in arranging activities, culinary team produced amazing huge meals and so kind and gracious with guests. Cannot recommend this lodge highly enough, look no further for your home in QENP, you will arrive as a guest and leave as family

A very nice place in the National Park, great facilities and superfriendly stuff and owners. We also enjoyed the elephant, waterbuck and warthog visits in the facilities. Fantastic place! We would definitively come back!!!

Exceptional experience at songbird safari lodge. The location, where elephants walk close and even through (!) and where other animals can be seen in the garden at night, is totally awesome. Everybody there (Goritta, Anington, Mbabazi) is so helpful for any service, wishing to make all at the best. The accommodation and the meals (with great ceremonial from Mbabazi) are wonderful. More than highly recommended !
