"Highly recommend staying here if visiting Gir National Park"

Fern Gir is lovely. The feel of the hotel is great, rustic with a safari theme. We enjoyed browsing the hotel information and its accolades. Our room was in a perfect spot and was just how I would expect a safari room to be. We wish we had more time there. I would have liked to have done the nature walk which we just didn't have time for. The food was great variety and very pleasantly surprised to see meat on the buffet being a meat free state. It was very welcome and the best chicken curry we had in all our month long India trip. Staff were really nice and friendly, happy to help and just engage in conversation. I would highly recommend Fire Gir if visiting Sasan or Gir National Park. The most helpful was that hotel were able to book the safaris and getting the permit done which saved us a lot of hassle as I could not get it done online due to technical errors.

The group drinks atmosphere could have been better, it was a little dull and not worth it. other than this I cant think of much else.
