Nothing it was perfect

What an absolutely amazing property! It had everything you could possibly need: cosy, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was perfect, the smart TV a great touch, and the hot tub was a real highlight with spectacular views. Despite there being another property nearby, it felt completely private. The location was ideal, just 10 minutes from Penrith, and my dog absolutely loved the safe open space to run around. The host was very attentive and made sure we knew they were available if we needed anything. An absolute gem, we’ll definitely be back.

Very hard to fault anything; if I had to pick one thing, the lock boxes were a little fiddly when retrieving or returning the keys.

The shepherd’s hut was perfect. Beautifully decorated. Cosy and comfortable. Cleonie was brilliant getting the wood burner and hot tub going.

Location fabulous! Peaceful, beautiful and within reach to all the places you’d need or want to go! The Hot tub after a long day walking the fells and the clear night sky - what more could you want.

Outdoor seating cushions were soaked through - but we were able to sit on the two stools - we didn’t particularly need to use them but storage for them would make them more usable (does not change our view on the stay at all)

The location was lovely and quiet. The hut was spacious and very comfortable. Once the hot tub heated up that was the cherry on top. Would recommend messaging the owner asking it they can start the fire off for when you arrive so the hot tub is heated already.

Lovely location, Otter Shepherd hut was clean and cosy. Would definitely go back again.
