We loved how cosy it was! Also the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely addition to our minimoon

It is a little in the middle of no where and the hot hub takes a while to heat up, not something we didn’t like per say just wish we have looked first 😂

We absolutely loved our short stay here and Cleone was a superb host. Despite being 1 of 2 huts, you are not overlooked and it feels incredibly private. The shepherds huts have been furnished to a really high standard and everything was there that we could have needed. Despite worrying that it might be a bit chilly at night, this wasn't the case at all. It was super cosy, in fact it was so warm we didn't use the log burner the second night. The bottle of champagne and dog treats for our canine guest was a lovely touch. The location was great for access to other parts of the lakes whilst feeling completely off the beaten track.

The only way I could improve our stay would be to have some extra towels for using the hot tub and sjower in case they haven't dried completely by the morning and also consideration for an air fryer in the kitchen.

Couldn’t recommend more for a beautiful, peaceful getaway. The Hut location was perfect to embrace the breathtaking open views but positioned to give you privacy. The Host clearly takes so much pride in the Huts, they are immaculate, beautifully decorated with everything you need. Easy check in with a key safe once you arrive, everything ran so smoothly. She is just a message / call away if you need anything during your stay too. We ran out of kindling for the hot tub and she responded so quickly and we had more in no time! We brought our dog with us and arrived to a little welcome pack for him with treats and dog bags. The value for money is absolutely incredible, with some Shepards Huts these days you are looking at over £400 per night. The price we paid for 2 nights was absolutely amazing and we are already looking at booking to come back! If you need a getaway in the countryside, this is the place to be.

We absolutely loved our three night stay in our little shepherds hut! We found it roomy compared to other huts we have stayed in which was great. The bed was very comfortable and the sofa a nice addition for relaxing. The hot tub was great and a really good size. Lots of places to visit not too far away. We were going to have a meals out but decided to eat in the hut as it was so lovely. Cleone was a great host throughout our stay - very much appreciated the birthday banner and Prosecco to celebrate! We loved going to say hello to the goats next to us :)
