Really clean and looked after, really peaceful and great scenic views

The views were beautiful. The log burner fireplace was so cosy and lovely. The whole hut was very cosy and felt like home from home.

The only issue we found was the cooking situation since there wasn't an oven, however the induction hob, bbq and other facilities made up for this.

beds were quite uncomfortable for mine and my partners likely, dusty in areas and it was a shame that we didn’t manage to use the hot tub

Great location to travel round the lake district

The perfect stay – couldn’t have asked for more! My mum, her two little dogs, and I had the most perfect stay here. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed – there was even a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us, which was such a lovely touch! The facilities were spotless and had everything we needed. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, making the most of the BBQ and outdoor seating, and although we didn’t use it this time, the fire pit was a brilliant bonus too! - Truly a peaceful and thoughtful retreat – thank you so much for going above and beyond! We will be back xxx

Nice hut, well equipped and clean. Great shower and hot water.

NOT ENOUGH WOOD! Nowhere near enough wood to heat the hot tub for one use, never mind 2 nights. There were 2 very small bags of extra wood available in the barn, but they wanted £10 per bag! Extortionate! We bought 2 bags from a local garage for half the price. If you are going to provide these facilities, you should provide enough wood to fuel them for the whole of the stay, or at least put in the description that you will need to buy more wood.

Gorgeous hut to stay in. The owner was really helpful and friendly. Fantastic location with lots to do. We especially like having a walk up to the Beacon in Penrith. Hot tub was a particular highlight too. I’d highly recommend this as a place to come and stay.
