The door on balcony didn’t close properly so could hear the insects outside all night other than that it was ok

Great value for money and very nice rooms with balcony. The owner is very helpful and dedicated.

Some public areas look like they are in process of being reorganized / cleaned up. It will even look nicer, if those areas are cleaned up.

If you are looking for a room with chain hotel standards, this place may not be for you. The house is simply furnished, frogs croak outside the window, and access to the property is via a dirt road. This is an authentic, local place that reflects the character of the island. - The property is very decent and offers great value for money. - It has the charm of a "Thai gesthouse" rather than a typical resort, which adds to its local flavor. - While it may appear chaotic at first, it is very charming and has a unique character. - The location is perfect, situated in the middle of the island, making it a convenient 25-30 minute drive to all the best spots. - The breakfast is tasty and satisfying. - The owner is helpful and nice, always ready to assist guests.

The breakfast was good, and when we asked for extra teas, coffees, water, etc it was provided virtually straight away. We could also rent bikes from the property. She also explained about the different beaches on the island.

The landlady was a bit strange at times to talk to, and it seemed that everything was for business and profit, which of course it is, but we have had experience at other places where this wasn't so obvious. The pictures on Booking.com look better than the actual place. There are some cheap and good eating places around, but they only open around 10-11 am, so breakfast is pretty much at the property. The landlady offered to arrange taxis for us, but when we shopped around just a little bit, we could find much cheaper options.

The host was so lovely, she provided us with water, gave us tips on where to go on the island, and helped us organise a taxi to our next location. We were also able to rent a scooter from the host for 250TBH per day. The location was close to the middle of the island which made it really easy to explore. The restaurant at the end of the street is fantastic and we highly recommend it.

There were some gaps around the doors in the room which allowed some geckos to enter. It is quite normal for geckos to be inside in this area, and this wasn't a problem as we used a towel to cover the gaps.

The owner was super nice and helpful, and gave us lots of tips for our trip. The hotel is well located in the island, but a motorbike is a must. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast varied.

The swimming pool was not so nice, we did not really use it.
