Anissa Resort Koh Yao Yai

Room was clean and super comfy and large bed. Scooter rentals are good bikes and good price. Owner does everything and is helpful. Breakfast was good. Pool was a nice added benefit

Beach location - it isn't really a beach more like a fishing flat. The village is quite far from anything else so you'll need to have a scooter. The property itself is a mess and ramshackle. Don't expect "resort" atmosphere - just a comfy place to sleep

If you look for a quiet escape this is a perfect place. The owner is helping you with everything. She organised great trips for us and the way with the boat there and back. Nice little restaurants close by but you need a scooter to reach the lovely spots on the island

Bed was comfortable, bathroom was okay, balcony was nice. Breakfast was delicious but not so much choices. Location was good especially when there was a special market place within 4 days. Motorbike we rented was good. Owner was really talkative and nice and very helpful if we needed something. Nice field around cottages and you really can enjoy birds´singing.

Of course if want beach where you can swim it is not possible at this resort although you can go to walk in the sea. Sea here is so low and after 50 meters walk it sinks.

Lovely little resort set in a very quiet area of the island. Big, spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds and every little thing in there that I could possibly need. The owner was very lovely and friendly and offered great advice and tips for the island, including helping with the scooter hire and transfers. Loved my stay here and loved the island so much I extended my stay and would come back to anissa resort again

The owner is adorable and a great person to talk with. She speaks German and English. The resort is well located and comfortable. We could rent the bike directly at the resort. The island has beautiful beaches, its calm and not overly touristic. We had a great stay and recommend definitely the resort.

The hosts really kind and helpful. She showed us a map of where best to go when we got there. She also arranged pick up back the pier when we left. You can also hire a bike from here hassle free. The room was spacious and offered a balcony with lots of seating. The bed and pillows were comfortable too which is always a big plus in south east Asia. Location for us was perfect. Being in the middle meant easy rides to both the north and south of the island.

Nothing to complain about.

Comfortable private shack, air con, comfortable bed, coffee, shower, all you need for a good base while here on the island of ko Yao Yai. Very central too 👍
