The location was amazing and the staff were the friendliest people we met on our trip which says a lot since everyone has been so nice

Balcony with sea views

Construction work right next to the house with noise and workers looking into the balcony. When we met the host, after saying hi, the next thing he said is that if we bring more people we need to pay extra. and if we brought a pet we can't check in. Thats was our greeting which didn't give us good feelings. We did ask to bring a pet but got refused, that is reasonable but notable. Finally, there was power break almost the whole weekend. the owner house across the road had power and we had nothing. Maybe sparing some power for essentials (without ac or hot water) would not be a big problem and a lot more accommodating and decent.

White Sands gave me the comfort, peace and tranquility I was looking for. Really enjoyed the comfy bed and aircon, clean room, and hot shower with lots of pressure. An added bonus is the location - adjacent to a sandy beach like soft sugar, a perfect place for a late afternoon swim in crystal blue water. Will be back!

The hotel is situated in a nice area of Siargao, where it is not so crowded and where there are nice beaches. The room was clean and staff and owner/family were friendly. The bar at the beach front was under construction during our stay unfortunately, but it is expected to be finished very soon.

we were a bit unlucky with the timing, as there were voltage drops over night and the fuse for the aircon blew out all the time at night. Might easily be fixed, I think and might thus not concern other guests.

Alan is a wonderful host. he is helpful and all the staff as well. The room and the common areas are clean and tidy. I highly recommend whitesands. Thanks for everything.

We had an amazing experience at Whitesands Beach Resort, and much of it is thanks to the incredible hospitality of the host, a charming and handsome Englishman. We made a mistake with our booking dates, and what could have been a stressful situation turned into a seamless experience because of his help. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue quickly and ensured that we were comfortably accommodated without any hassle. The resort itself is a beautiful escape—pristine beaches, peaceful surroundings, and cozy rooms. But what truly sets it apart is the level of personal care and attention from the host. He not only helped us with our booking mishap but also gave fantastic local recommendations, making sure we got the most out of our stay. If you're looking for a resort with stunning views and outstanding service, Whitesands Beach Resort is the perfect choice. We are incredibly grateful for the host's kindness and can't wait to return!
