Whitesands Beach Resort

Rooms are very comfortable, hot and cold water, good pressure, and good beds. There is a beautiful beach in front.

Breakfast and coffee can be improved. But there is coffee shops and places for breakfast near by.

Beautiful property, Alan was very accommodating and gave me a ride into town. I can not wait to come back when the restaurant is open again. They are rebuilding after a storm.

Had a nice peaceful stay away from the busy main tourist part of island, was comfortable with air con and free WiFi. The hosts were very accommodating organising transport to explore the island and even though the bar is under construction was able to order food for room service at a reasonable price, the best part was the beach was lovely to swim in.

We will definitely come back again and look forward to seeing the bar when finished.

We stayed in a room right on the beach, where we could swim in the warm water until it got dark. The views were breathtaking, and the sunsets were unforgettable. The owner of the hotel was amazing, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to help with any request. The on-site restaurant served delicious local cuisine, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. We can't wait to return!"

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. This destination is an ideal spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the sea. The food menu at the hotel is impressive, offering a variety of freshly cooked dishes. Every meal was delivered to our balcony, allowing us to dine while overlooking the sea and listening to the soothing sounds of the waves. It was a truly relaxing and memorable experience. Alan, the owner of the hotel, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He checked on us every day to ensure we were okay and even offered us lifts whenever we needed. On our departure day, Alan kindly drove us back to the ferry, refusing to accept any payment for petrol. His generosity and friendliness made our holiday even more special, and we now consider him a new friend. The location itself is perfect for a peaceful holiday. The serene environment and beautiful views make it a destination we hope to return to year after year. Traveling from the UK was straightforward, with a flight from London to Manila followed by a connecting flight to the island. A big thank you to Alan and all the amazing staff for making our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to come back

Location was good, and the owner was friendly.

It was dirty inside and out. It looked like a savage yard or a dump surrounding our beach cottage. You had to walk carefully as to not to step on something or trip due to all the different debris laying around. Also the owner had his construction guys mixing cement with a gas powered mixer to 11:10pm 12ft from our cottage. The AC unit never worked, it would only blow warm or hot air. So much garbage everywhere. We left a day early just to get some comfortable sleep. Never stayed in such a dive.

The air-conditioning was broken. The property is not beachfront as it is seen in the pictures. Overall the worst stay I had in years. Construction on going in front so the noise at night is unbearable

Owner of the resort was very helpful personality. Helped every time when I was needed. Restaurant facility is under construction and soon will be ready. Overall location and resort is at calm place and before the sea. Nice place to stay for solo and couples. Special to mention that owner drop me from his car to port without accepting any money from me.

Got room #5 with 2 beds. Large, very new, bright and comfortable room. We love the firm beds. Water boiler in room. Very new property so everything is new. Powerful and brand new aircon so it cools the room in no time. Great owner. He lives on the 2nd floor and lets us have the privacy. We basically had the whole place to ourselves as there were no other guests that day. Nice and spacious living room for all guests to use. We were the only guests at the beach and that was great. Walk cross the street and their bar which is being built and the beach is there. Beach water is clear and clean. I don’t know why there’s no option to post photos with this review. I forgot to wave goodbye to the owner. When I was on the back of the rented scooter, I turned my head and saw the owner stood there on the staircase sending us off.

Sea water has many weeds/grasses and there are several small white cute creatures in the water who bite. Doesn’t leave a mark on my skin though so it is ok. I walk into the sea for 2 meters and water is deep. I still enjoy very much being there. The water heater in room #5 is not new and shower head doesn’t work properly. The owner immediately called someone to fix. My husband opened it to wash the next day as it got stuck again. Electricity was having a problem so aircon didn’t work for a few hours until late in the night. We still can sleep as the room has nice and new mosquito nets at the window and toilet window. Wifi didn’t work most of the time and my mobile wifi didn’t work too. The signal in this area is not good yet. I could relax without using the internet but we needed to check the maps and planned our travels to other islands.
