"Poor service delivery and quality."

This is an outdated property in serious need of an upgrade. We had a leaking toilet throughout our stay and was “repaired” to no avail. The staff try and force unnecessary charges to increase the bill. Just poor!! I don’t know who is writing these other fantastic reviews, but it’s incorrect. The food is tasteless and terrible! Poor breakfast choices, and the worst food in India.

It’s outdated and needs and upgrade.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Thanjavur. The views were beautiful and added a lot of charm to the overall experience. The food was really good, with a nice variety and great taste. What stood out the most was the service — the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay. A special mention to the team for being knowledgeable about the local area and helping us understand more about Thanjavur, its culture, and places to visit. Their recommendations made the trip even better. Overall, a lovely place to stay with great views, good food, excellent service, and a team that truly knows how to take care of guests. Highly recommended!

"Good stay with family with Nice place to go walking & cycling."

Great location away from Thanjāvūr busy town. Wish the river was filled with water. Toilet was spacious and clean.

The flies was around the buffet place though staff using device to get rid of it. The spa was not responsive even after I called the reception.

"The perfect base for exploring Thanjavur. Very accommodating, friendly staff."

Location. Easy access to Thanjavar for Tuk-Tuk trips to The Big Temple and the Chola bronzes in the museums. Large swimming pool. Although we understand the current pool will make way for more rooms as the hotel is upgraded. Chef very accommodating. Happy to cook personal requests. Very friendly staff.

It’s our third time there, and the rooms are starting to look a little tired. That said, the hotel is undergoing a complete upgrade as we speak.
