"Marvelous - the home made goat yoghurt in the morning is a delight"

The room and facilities were perfect with George being the perfect host, helping us navigate our first days in the region. The property and juggle walk were outstanding for birdwatching, seeing monkeys and the three-toed sloths provided the best views of our whole trip to Costa Rica.. Papone is a hidden gem and we would definitely look to stay there again when we are in the area.

Wow !!!! this lodge is unbelievable…. the cabanas are sooooooo beautiful!!! the surrounding area full of nature, top quality products like shampoo, body was are offered. I highly recommend this place.

"Beautiful lodge in a serene setting"

Very nice little lodge in a quiet area. Beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. Friendly owners and nice pancake breakfast.

Nothing to mention, but you should know it's located on a rather bumpy dirt road, which is fine, but takes a little longer to get to.

the location is suuuper stunning! not the most touristy, but that’s why I think it’s very good. very nice and helpful family. beautiful triangle cabins created with lots of care and beautiful detail. the ‘mini’ Forrest trail incl river is magical in the morning… great for peace and rest!

Very tastefully decorated, very beautifully built by the owner, owner helped us order a takeaway meal from village as we arrived late, we saw toucans in the garden , very special place
