Matina Mountain Resort

The location is good, up the hill, which means the view is nice and it’s quiet. The room was spacious and we had a private swimming pool.

The hotel is not well maintained. And the construction has been sloppy to begin with. There were stains everywhere and cleaning service was inconsistent and sloppy too. Like our bedsheets had huge black stains one day after cleaning. There was rust on the pool chairs and cushions super dirty. Breakfast absolutely horrible so after the first day we didn’t order anymore. The staff were friendly and accommodating though, so whatever we were missing and asked for, they provided promptly. But the standard and the condition of the place is not good enough for the price we paid for the pool villa.

Mars was so kind and helpful and the property was Beautiful with stunning views and a lovely breakfast each morning 😁 Will definitely be staying again!

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage auf Koh Tao. Die Pool Villa hatten einen außergewöhnlichen Ausblick auf das Meer. Das Frühstück wird jeden Morgen zur Haustür gebracht und war wirklich immer sehr lecker! Das Bungalow wurde täglich gereinigt - es war immer alles sehr sauber. Das ganze Personal war extrem aufmerksam und war jederzeit auch per WhatsApp erreichbar. Von Pier wird man kostenlos bei Ankunft abgeholt & bei Abreise auch wieder hin gebracht. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt - auf jeden Fall würden wir wieder kommen!

Ohne Roller war der Weg zum Hotel wirklich anstrengend
