Hot tub was nice

We booked this property last min as a get away from our busy work life to chill and relax. When we arrived we’re were met by the host who was friendly and welcoming. Once showed our pod for the night we soon realised we had made a mistake to book this property. We paid £250 for this property and what we got was far from the price tag. Once we got into our room we were told our fridge and sink were outside and that the internet wouldn’t work inside the pod. In the room was a 50inch smart tv that had no use to our needs as we planned to watch a Netflix show and relax. Had no phone service either and had to drive the whole way into town to get food. Once back in our room we had to eat our food on the sofa which was quite difficult but I don’t know how this room is listed for 6 guests as there was nowhere to even eat our food. There was no hot water tap in bathroom. Contacted host and was told to use the shower or boil the kettle for hot water! There was also mould in the bathroom! The whole pod was only heated by a radiator in the bathroom and a small electric fire in the main room! It was a cold night and this did not heat the pod very well. Beds also not very comfortable. And pod very outdated Had to bring own towels and shower gels We paid far too much for this property! All in all I’d say this property is in a serious need of a update as it doesn’t meet the standard for 2025

Said there was a view. Could only see a golf course. Little bit pricey for what you get.

Nothing was very dirty

Everything,no Internet,the dirt of the place,run down very over priced,490 for 4 adults,couldn't even sleep in the bed,hairs below duvet,white stains on duvet,the very smell of the duvet,sofa etc not even a rollerblind in living area,wouldn't leave my dog there

How private the area was while in hot tubs

No signal and no WiFi was a bit of a dampener

It was a peaceful, private location, the beds were comfortable and the area outside with the hot tub was tastefully decorated, including a radio for music.The host was pleasant and easy to communicate with.

While we didn't mind, 'roughing it', after all it was glamping, there were a few issues that could be improved. Firstly, there was no sign at the road to show us where to go. However we did get directions when we asked in a nearby shop. The sink in the toilet area didn't let the water drain away. There were no bowls for eating breakfast cereal. The pan provided for cooking was not clean enough to use. The hot tub was too hot to use in the evening! Given that it was an ideal temperature the next morning, the advice to top it up with wood every half hour after the staff left, was unnecessary. While it sleeps 5 and was originally booked for 5, had our friends not pulled out, 2 of us were comfortable, where 5 of us would have been rather cramped. We made the most of what we had and enjoyed our stay, but just wanted to share our thoughts and hopefully you can make some improvements.
