Skipbridge farm glamping

Very cosy little pod. The hot tub was set up before we arrived. A brilliant night's stay, I will 100% book again!

Great location if driving to/from York and Harrogate. Easy parking. Functional and cosy private cabin. Good cooking and cleaning facilities (although it is A little far away from local pubs and shops, so best to come fully stocked with food and drink!). Animals on the farm to see. Private garden/ secure for dogs! Outdoor fire pit and jacuzzi.

I appreciate that glamping may be more comfortable in the warmer months, but it was a bit of a shame to not have a log burner in our cabin. That said, there was a fire pit and hot tub outside. There was a compostable toilet next to our cabin which was great, but the shower was turned off as it was winter, and the shower block was approx 200m walk. Inside the block there were a lot of dead spiders and cobwebs (I acknowledge that it’s winter and we’re on a farm, so probably very hard to manage!). Bed mattress was quite uncomfy, but a lot comfier than sleeping in a tent! Based on the above, even though we had a nice time, I would say that our cabin in particular was overpriced for what it was.

Lovely little glamping pod, so cosy and clean. Had everything we needed. The hot tub was warm when we arrived which was a nice little extra touch that we didn’t expect.

A little walk to the shower block to brush teeth etc but we used the hose outside our pod and it is technically camping so can’t expect much more than that so not a negative just what to expect.

Comfortable, cosy, hot tub was fabulous ,heated by a stove and was lovely and warm.

Going to the out house for the loo..but to be fair we were aware of this when booking.
