Luxury Shepherds Hut - The Sweet Pea by the lake

The whole stay was lovely. Sam and his family were fantastic, and the location was beautiful. Sitting outside 1st thing in the morning was just perfect. If you are looking for somewhere to stay around York, then I highly recommend

We felt immediately welcome and comfortable. The room was immaculately clean and well-maintained. Everything functioned perfectly. We rested up and relaxed. Exactly what we needed. Would happily return.

The bed spread was only just large enough although we were warm enough.

Location is beautiful 😍 and the standard of the hut was amazing, trulyhave done amazingwith them. Just far enough out of York for the peace and quiet. Only a 10min drive into York. We are definitely returning in the summer. Thanks for a great weekend

Bed wasn't the comfiest but your not there to sleep all day 😂. And understandable as it pulls out to a double and separate the 2 singles, perfectly fine for a weekend of sight seeing. Don't let it put you off, it's not bad at all. Literally the only thing I could think of that could be improved and it doesn't even really need that

Very clean and beautiful spot. The hut was extremely well built with excellent facilities. The staff were friendly and Sam even took our luggage to the hut! Highly recommended.
