Riverwood Farms Shepherds Hut

This is a very special place and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind. Jo and the family are very welcoming and are natural hosts. All of the facilities are first class and make for a unique holiday. We feel lucky to have found Riverwoods Farm.

Nothing.

Brilliant location very easy to find. Our little 21 week old Border terrier loved it. Loved the walks and the hut tub was very relaxing.

Too many files haha, and the price was just a little high only in the sense that, we stayed from a Thursday to a Saturday but to stay for more night was £180 I understand that everything is getting more expensive. But as you can't arrive until after 15.00/16.00 pm on your first day so you essential lose out on half a day and you need to leave before 10.00 on your leaving day. So just seemed a little steep for one more night.

The location and property was prefect to escape the the rush of everyday life, to kick back and relax. Barbecue in wood land setting, relaxing in the wood fired hot tub and then to relax on the decking with drink looking out on to woodland. The isolation was wonderful, i hope they can keep the location this way, the hut is down a short path about a two minute walk from the the parking lot.

The passing trains was the only distraction, but they are pretty infrequent and soon forgotten.

we liked the privacy and space for our dog to explore In the trees.

The rural location and seclusion along with the facilities gave a perfect match for a quiet time away with a bed for the night and peace and tranquility - a great place to chill

I loved the setting and how the dog had plenty of area to run around

The shepherd's hut was very cosy and comfortable. Very clean. Was lovely to be met by Jo, who showed us the accommodation and how to use the wood fired hot tub, which was lovely to use after a long day. Fabulous outside space.

A little tight for space for our family of 4, but if the weather had been better would have been ideal with the use of the outside space.

4th time we have visited riverwood farms shepherd's hut and once again it didn't disappoint, fantastic place, our little bit of paradise. Can't wait to return

Going home !

Can't fault it I had a fantastic stay, it had everything and more than we needed. Was greeted with a smile and showed around and leave to enjoy - the hottub was already and preheated for arrive (win-win)
