Location wise ok ok not too great as it’s not close to any main attractions however we didn’t mind much. Our main issue was not comfortable bed, beds were very high like American style, not like normal height bed of 24/25 inch all beds were over 30 inch not appropriate for elderly. Risk of fall etc n we slept on sofa n on floor. After long day activities n walk u want nice bed rest but this was disappointing. Size of lodge is good for 2 people not for 4 adults.

Shower curtain! I really didn't like shower curtain,as the shower head in the centre so unable to avoid.

Lodge had everything that you needed for a comfortable stay. Signal wasn't the best but could connect to the WiFi so this was a bonus.

A cosy warm cabin, nice deep bath and good shower. Lovely to have a dishwasher!

The double bed felt really small, not comfortable for 2 people. There wasn't enough toilet paper. We've never before been expected to strip the beds before leaving so were not overly impressed by this request. We thought we might have had a nicer view than the caravan opposite. Their outside lights were quite bright into the bedroom at night.

How dog friendly it was. Cosy and warm. Everything you needed was there.

What wasn’t there to like? Dobby lodge had a very homely feel and despite being nearly 6 hours from home we didn’t feel as though we needed time to settle in. My daughters loved it who are both at different ages so catered for both their needs.

This would be really picky and it isn’t even a dislike but sometimes their is limited phone signal and the WiFi is temperamental which is a bit of a deal breaker for my teenage daughter but again not an issue for me.
