Black Cat Guest Ranch

This is my favorite place to stay whenever in the Jasper area! I’ve been here multiple times over the years and I always have a great stay and the views are mint!

Die Ranch liegt mitten im Wald abseits der Stadt Hinton. Man kann auf einem kleinen Rondell mit Überdachung draußen sitzen und die Vögel beobachten und mit Volunteer Neele schwatzen (Danke für das nette Gespräch!). Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und geben gute Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Nähe. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Man kann im Kühlschrank seine Lebensmittel/Getränke deponieren. Es gibt ganztags extra Obst+Gebäck.

Mein erster Eindruck war die völlig verschmutzte Eingangstür. Das Gebäude ist stark renovierungsbedürftig.

We were very fortunate to have been able to engage in conversation with the Black Cat Ranch owners. A warm, friendly couple who are as much part of the property as the view and the wildlife. We were honored to have had this personal opportunity. We learned so much more about the history of the ranch, how the ranch was developed and has been used over the years.

The property is 'tired'.

Romantisch gelegen, schöner großer Aufenthalts-/Frühstückstraum mit Gelegenheit zur Selbstverpflegung, da das nächste Restaurant im Ort Hilton 25 km entfernt liegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut und reichhaltig. Ausgangspunkt für diverse Wanderungen.

Ranch liegt zwar sehr einsam von viel Natur umgeben, die Railway braust allerdings mit viel Getöse durch den Wald. Angeblich gewöhnt man sich daran. Die Zimmer sind etwas muffig, das Bad allerdings sauber.
