"Great walking base."

Ideal location for walking/hiking, with well marked trails, great old wooden ranch with wildlife in the paddocks, comfy rooms, with hot water, clean towels etc. Breakfast was good with choices, there was coffee and biscuits always available during the day.

This quiet and peaceful place is perfect if you want to feel connected with nature. A traditional continental breakfast was served, offering several options, including delicious house-made pastries. Black Cat Ranch is a wonderful place with a rich history — we loved its warm hospitality, cozy home-like atmosphere, and the large library with a great selection of books for all ages. I would highly recommend this place to stay.
