GBLovely and quiet with beautiful views of the jungle and and rice fields. We had a really comfortable 2 nights before and after our jungle trek which was super easy to organise prior to arrival, along with transfers to and from the airport. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. We ate here for breakfast and dinner and the food was really tasty and very good value for money.
The location although beautiful is a little out of town so be prepared with transport or for a bit of a walk.
DEDEWir sind überglücklich, dieses Juwel gefunden zu haben und können es allen nur ans Herz legen. Die Unterkunft hat einen tollen Ausblick, ist sehr sauber, hat tolles ( auch vegetarisches Essen) und wird von einer sehr netten Familie geführt. Unser Guide Jack hat uns schon bei der Ankunft herzlich Willkommen geheißen und er war der beste Führer, den man sich vorstellen kann. Mit viel Kenntnis und bester Laune hat er uns durch den Dschungel und zurück begleitet. Er hat viel wertvolles Dschungelwissen durch seine Großeltern mitbekommen und ist der jüngste Guide von Bukit Lawang. Er liebt die Natur und sorgt gut für sie. Er würde z.B. niemals Müll im Dschungel lassen oder die Tiere anfüttern. Wir haben unglaublich viele Tiere auf unserer Wanderung gesehen, teilweise extrem nah.
Alles war gut. Nur vielleicht wichtig zu wissen: es gibt kein warmes Wasser und auch keine Seife im Bad. Im Nachhinein hätten wir auf die Übernachtung im Dschungelcamp lieber verzichtet. Dieses war ein unschöner Eingriff in wunderschöne Natur. Laute Menschen haben uns am Schlafen gehindert und alles war voller Plastik. Unter Kein Wunder, die Hütten bestehen aus Plastikplanen. Der Koch war phantastisch! Damit hatten aber weder diese Unterkunft noch unsere Guides etwas zu tun. Im Gegenteil, diese Guides sind ökologisch unglaublich vorbildlich!
