Howe of Torbeg

Excellent location for couples and nature lovers. Location is close to the Cairngorms national park (east side) with many accessible hikes close by with car/foot. It was so peaceful and the view was amazing. Cozy cabins, clean shared bathrooms and a fire pit available for BBQ. Ian was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

De locatie, prachtig uitzicht en zeer rustig . Nette schone badkamers en koelkast(je) aanwezig .vriendelijke eigenaars. Zelfs citusgeurstokjes aanwezig. 2 lekkere campingstoelen! Auto op eigen parkeerplaats vlakbij woonhuis en dichtbij de pods.

Het matras was niet echt prettig, voelde alsof je op de grond lag ondanks de lattenbodem, en geen horren voor de deur of raam en er waren vele midges, dat had ook fijn geweest ivm warmte . Een elektrische waterkoker ipv campinggas om water te koken zou ook handig zijn. Maar het is echt een soort kamperen dus ook zijn charme.

The place has been an amazing surprise. Nice hosts, a lovely and enchanting pod, Nature around, a beautiful water course running just below the place, silence.

De ligging is natuurlijk super! Het is heel grappig om een nachtje in zo’n pod te slapen. Uiteraard is de ruimte wat beperkt. Wij als motorrijders, hebben dan ook sommige spullen buiten moeten laten staan.

Het ontbijt was heel karig. 1 croissant met 1 jammetje en een potje pap is wel wat weinig… Dat kan echt veel beter. Daarbij was de croissant waarschijnlijk ook nog van de lokale buurt supermarkt..
