Howe of Torbeg

The cabin was comfortable and well positioned. The host had made it look very welcoming ready for our arrival (after a long day of cycling!) we also loved The Snug - a shared space, and the Tea Shed with great facilities to relax, make a brew, and relax in front of a warm fire. All this and a gorgeous view of trees and hills. Oh, and no mobile signal or WiFi either, which was also lovely!

Beautiful surroundings, very tranquil, felt like we had really escaped to the countryside. The pod was cosy, the Snug had a lot of information about things to do in the area. The toilet block was very clean and well equipped.

Beautifully clean and comfortable, the pods were exactly as advertised and the views spectacular. It was raining in the evening so we didn’t get to use the amazing fire pit but the snug was perfect for us to cook and enjoy our meal. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless, and being able to enjoy our breakfast outside the next morning with such amazing views was wonderful. We will definitely return!

Endroit sublime, vue magnifique, calme absolu. Accueil adorable. Formule Bbq appréciée. Très propre ( les communs bien équipés et propres).

Seule remarque : la dureté du lit ( je pense que c est à cause de l absence de sommier)

De Pod is gelegen op een mooie plek en had een prima bed. Verder was de Pod voorzien van verwarming, 2 stoeltjes om lekker buiten te kunnen zitten en een fire pit. Van te voren kun je hier tegen betaling een pakket voor bestellen. Verder is er een gezamenlijke ruimte waar oa boeken en spelletjes aanwezig zijn, ook is er hier de mogelijkheid om eventueel iets op te warmen. De gedeelde doucheruimte is ruim en schoon!

Ligging is vrij afgelegen, dichtstbijzijnde plaats Ballater ligt op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden.
