Arachiwil Green Nature Resort

Beautiful house with a very large garden: there were monkeys, peacocks and even a crocodile! Very friendly and helpful owner. Overall our stay and the room with airconditioning were very comfortable!

The bathroom was a bit olddated and less clean, but still good to use.

Far from city. Not many auto drivers know the place. No activities around the area.

Remote area. insects inside the room. Very poorly maintained.

Staff were great. Large grounds to explore

The guys that was working during pur stay was helpful. Beautiful 80acre coconut farm to walk through, even got given a free coconut by the workers which the receptionist kindly opened for us & gave us fresh mangos from his tree. He organised good srilankan food for us which was brought as a take away which got delivered to the accommodation for a small fee. Food was tasty.

On arriving we checked into our room & I was taken away by the smell of 20 moth balls which had been left all around the room (these are very toxic to health) during our 1 night stay I suffered with a very bad headache, not sure if these had brought it on or not, this is the reason we stayed for 1 night instead of 2. I immediately collected the mothballs up & put them into a sealable bag. The person that brings the food & driver was a quite pushy trying to sell us trips & safaris which was a shame because he was nice.
