Arachiwil Green Nature Resort

A last minute booking stopping off on way to Wilpattu national park. The owners were really lovely and the surrounding garden is beautiful!! offered us tea and coffee in the morning before leaving

has a lot of potential but needs a bit of refurbishment! perhaps it was just the room we stayed in!

The smell in the room and it is a bit noisy.

This place was in a really cool location set amongst 30 acres of coconut and mangos. The young guy was super friendly and he made us coffee and helped us order dinner to be delivered then he set it all up for us in bowls and wouldn't let us do the dishes. He was very kind. The room and bathroom is basic but has everything you need and everything is clean and mosquito net and fan. We expected basic and for the price it's great. It's off the tourist path but for us it was good as we had our own tuk tuk

The staff here were so lovely and couldn’t do enough to help us! From helping my drive my tuk tuk when I was struggling to ordering and facilitating the nicest takeaway food I’ve had and putting it into actual plates / bowls when it arrived. For the price it’s exactly what we expected.

Exactly what we expected for the location and price! Bathroom is not attached in the twin room as it says.

Spacious room & good wifi. Good location when needing to break up the journey from negombo to Anuradhapura

Unfortunately the photos don’t look like the reality, the rooms are quite dark, dated & dirty. We had to get a spider and it’s nest off the curtains during the night. No aircon in the room & the door to the room didn’t feel very secure

Big garden where we saw wild peacocks. Dinner and Breakfast can be ordered at the Resort.

Bathroom was a bit old. Overall it is not the newest building. The blanket was a sheepwool blanket that looked rather old. One guy that worked at the resort kind of persisted to sell us a safari trip, even tough we already said that we booked one at our next stay.
